Sticky Sesame Veggie Rolls with a Spicy Cashew Almond Sauce

It's finally summer in Ohio! We are loving these warm beautiful days and all this farm fresh goodness we have to deliver to your door. With the welcome heat comes nights that are just too hot to do any cooking. That's where veggie rolls come in!

This week we are partnering with our local friends, NOSH Butters. If you have a second to head over to our instagram this afternoon, we will be giving away a few jars of their gourmet nut butters and a box of our rescued produce to one lucky winner! That way, you can make this delicious spicy sauce in your kitchen too!



The best part about this recipe is how versatile it is. You can use a variety of veggies, whatever you got in your box this week, or any leftover veggies you have hanging around the house. These are also super delicious with some shrimp! The fillings are up to you.

If you've never used a rice wrapper before, they may seem intimidating! The secret is dipping the disc into a bowl of hot water until the wrapper becomes soft and easy to roll. After that, you just fill the wrapper and roll it up like a burrito. Let's dig in!


Sticky Sesame Veggie Rolls with a Spicy Cashew Almond Sauce
Serves 4
8 sheets of rice paper
2 cups assorted Perfectly Imperfect Produce veggies, sliced thin. 
- I used kale, squash, zucchini, beets, cauliflower and carrots
1/3 cup fresh cilantro


Spicy Cashew Almond Sauce
1/4 cup Golden Cashew Almond NOSH Butters
1/4 cup Sesame Oil
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1 T chopped Ginger
1 T chopped Perfectly Imperfect Garlic
1 T Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 T Sriracha or Chili Garlic Paste



1. Combine sauce ingredients with a whisk until smooth and creamy.
2. Dip rice paper discs in hot water until they are pliable. Fill with an assortment of veggies and roll up. Serve with sauce and enjoy day of. Can be refrigerated for a day, but let come to room temperature before eating again, as the rice paper becomes firm when chilled.
