Fall Favorites - Recipe Roundup

Each Friday here on our blog we share a simple, nutritious recipe featuring one or more of the items in that week's Perfectly Imperfect Produce box. Our hope is to inspire you turn our imperfect fruits and veggies into a perfect meal, snack or side dish. We know that sometimes you aren't sure exactly how to utilize some of the items you have received. We're here to demystify any mysterious veggies that arrive in your box of surprises! We love seeing you recreate these dishes from your own home and also show us how you're getting creative with your PIP goodies in your own unique way.

Well this week we wanted to do something a little bit different. Since it's the start of a new season, (perhaps our most favorite) we found ourselves daydreaming about all the warm and cozy fall comfort food recipes that live on our blog already. Those of you who are new to our program may never have tried these recipes before. And those of you who have been around for awhile would probably love to try these delicious recipes again! So this week we're rounding up our favorite fall recipes from the blog to reshare with you! Try them and trust us, you'll fall for them too!

Delicata Squash Fries

This delicious dish can be served as an appetizer or a side. It's simple to make and it will have everyone raving! It's perfect for fall entertaining and special enough even for the upcoming holidays!

Sweet Potato Chili

It's chili season, finally!! The addition of the potato adds a natural sweetness to a spicy soup, and also makes it extra hearty and adds important nutrients. This chili is perfect for busy school nights or fall sports game days.

Roasted Butternut Squash Pasta Bake

Are you a huge fan of Mac & Cheese, but would love a healthier version? This roasted butternut squash sauce makes any noodle look like it's covered in a super cheesy-goey sauce, but it's really just blended veggies! It comes together with just a few pantry ingredients, and is loved by adults and children!

Apple Skillet Pancake

Eat it for breakfast or make it for dessert. It's the perfect way to use up all those local apples we've been seeing and there are so many more to come!
